Dr. Nigam Dave is currently working at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University as Dean and I/C Director School of Liberal Studies. He is also a member, Board of Governors and Member, Academic Council. Prior to joining Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University in 2008 Dr. Dave was working with a women’s Commerce College in Ahmedabad from 1993.Dr. Dave specializes in Communication, Literature and Leadership. Dr. Dave has presented 15 papers in International, National Conferences and has successfully guided two M.Phil. researchers. Dr. Dave has visited US with top delegation of PDPU in 2009 and visited University of Tulsa, University of Houston, Texas A&M University and University of Oklahoma, leading to successful MOUs of PDPU with these universities and Australia with Government of Gujarat Delegation in 2012 where he visited and interacted with officers of Macquarie University, TAFE, NSW, University of Melbourne, India-Australia Institute, University of Wollongong, University of Adelaide, Central TAFE, Murdoch University, Curtin University and Edith Cowan University. Dr. Dave has also attended a Master Class by the Former World Bank expert Jamil Salmi in Malaysia. Dr. Dave has facilitated the International Round Tables for (1) Visit of the Saskatchewan Premier to PDPU and India-Canada Round Table (2) Visit of the Minister for International Trade and Asia Pacific, Mr. Edward Fast from Canada and India-Canada Round Table (3) India-US Round Table (4) India-Canada Round Table on 3E – Energy, Education and Entrepreneurship in the presence of President of Alberta University Canada (5) India-Singapore Round Table on Trade and Economic Opportunities (6) India-Australia Round Table in the presence of the Vice Chancellor of Wollongong University and Mr. Adam Gilchrist (7) India-Japan Round Table on Investment Opportunities in Solar Energy. Dr. Dave has also facilitated the visits of Premier of Manitoba, Canada; Consul General of Spain, Consul General of Japan, Consul General of Canada, Minister of Trade and Under Secretary of US and H.E.High Commissioner of Canada to the university. Dr. Dave is invited as a Resource Person to speak on Body Language and Campus Novels. Prior to his office as Dean, Dr. Dave was advisor to number of students clubs in PDPU and was the coordinator of the University Fest ‘Flare’ twice.

He is a First class Science graduate from the University of Lucknow, got Central Government’s Departmental Scholarship till his graduation. Completed Master’s in Public Administration from the Department of Public Administration, University of Lucknow in the year 2008 with First class. He Cleared the UGC NET (Public Administration) in the year 2009.He has been awarded Ph.D.degree in the year 2014 from the University of  Rajasthan, Jaipur, in accordance with the provisions of UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009.The title of Ph.D. Thesis is “Service Quality Management (Sqm) Through e-Urban Governance: A Comparative Study of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and Lucknow Municipal Corporation”. He was also involved in teaching Public Administration and Indian Polity for UPSC and Provincial Civil Services Examinations.

Dr. Sharma, is engaged as an Assistant Professor with School of Liberal Studies, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) Gandhinagar. She is a gold medalist and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology. She has received professional training at National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore.

She has over 9 years of work experience in teaching, handling various psychological issues, and providing training in holistic personality development and to encourage the move towards actualizing one’s potential. She has been extensively involved in honing skill sets for management students to make them suitable for the job market. Dr. Sharma has worked in several research and training assignments in the areas of human behavior, personality development & psychometric profiling. She has conducted several workshops, MDPs and training programmes for the academia, corporate & NGOs in various areas of behavior and interpersonal effectiveness.

She has participated in various conferences and workshops with publications in academic journals. She was the speaker at TEDx conference-2010. She is a member of National Academy of Psychology and Indian Society for Training and Development, New Delhi. She is a Senior Member, International Economics Development and Research Center (IEDRC).

Ms. Neeta Khurana has been teaching Communication, English Language and Literature to students of Humanities, Commerce, Science and Management. She is a gold medalist from Gujarat University and held 2nd Rank in GPSC Examination. With an MPhil degree on Women’s Writing and ongoing research in Masculinistic Studies in India, her field is interdisciplinary .She has worked on psychological, sociological, cultural, and economic, aspects of Gender across India and the World.

She has participated extensively in National - International Conferences/Seminars and workshops. She has also presented 3 papers at such conferences and 1 at Singapore with focus on ELT. She has worked in the capacity of core member in various state level committees formed by Government of Gujarat. Ms. Khurana is also a painter and a creative writer.

She has researched on the interdisciplinary forms of art by exploring the issues of Women’s Writing, English Literature and Performing Arts. Ms. Urmi is dealing with the subject of Communication Skills at School of Technology. She is also teaching Indian English Writing (Elective) at School of Petroleum Technology. She has authored a book on Communication Skills and has also prepared a workbook for the same text. She has been in the teaching field since last 11 years. She has various research papers published / presented at International Publication and State/National/International level seminars and conferences. She has also coordinated a state level seminar.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Pradhan completed his M.A., M. Phil and Ph.D. from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi), and awarded with NET (UGC, Government of India) and Centrally Sponsored Doctoral Fellowship (ICSSR, Government of India) during his study. Before joining Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, he worked as Junior Project Fellow in the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT, New Delhi) and Assistant Professor in Political Science in the Faculty of Arts, Science and Commerce division of Mody Institute of Technology & Science (MITS, Rajasthan, India). With post-Ph.D. research and teaching experience of 9 years, he has, till date, 31 publications in various journals of repute such as Indian Foreign Affairs Journal, World Affairs, The Indian Journal of Social Work, Asian Studies, Asian Profile, World Focus, Geopolitics and Journal of Peace Studies. One of his two books has been published by Scholars’ Press (international publisher) and another is in print. Apart from this, he has conducted (as Convener) and  Chaired/ Co-Chaired Seminars and presented 20 research papers on international relations and socio-economic and political issues of importance in various national and international seminars/conferences at different platforms such as JNU, MLSU (organized by MLSU & ASA-India), GNLU, JMI, IMS, IMT, UR, EDI, GTU and IIC (organized by IAIS& IRIIS). Out of his total no. of 20 seminar papers presented, 6 of them have been published in the Conference Proceedings, and has delivered a Talk on Energy Security at the National Defence College, New Delhi, India.  

Dr. Pradhan has keen interest and deep inclination in the areas of Hydrocarbon Politics & Economy, Energy Security, Political Economy, Problems and Issues in Africa, Bilateral Relations, Peace & Conflict, Indian Diaspora, Indian Foreign Policy and Gender in International Relations.

Dr. Chaitanya Vyas is MBA and PhD with Marketing major and has over eight years of teaching experience. He has taught at Nirma University and at E.D.I. and worked as Academic Associate with I.I.M.-Ahmedabad. He has qualified UGC-NET with Management subject. He has published two books and four research papers and presented papers in international and national conferences. He has won prize for paper presentation at BITS-Pilani. Dr. Vyas has trained participants from 17 countries under an International Program sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, and has trained women Scientists and technologist working with the govt. sector in a National Training Program on Entrepreneurship Development Management, Sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India and Organized by E.D.I. He has done research projects for Directorate of Handloom, Govt. of Assam, for Emporia of Gujarat State Handloom & Handicraft Development Corporation, Gujarat, for Siemens Ltd., and for Satyam Online. He is Faculty Mentor with Entrepreneurship Cell at I.I.T. Kanpur, and is Founding Member of The Asia Pacific Writers & Translators Association. He has been Senate member of Sardar Patel University, Gujarat.

Dr. D Sriram has completed his M.A., M. Phil and Ph.D. from the Department of Public Administration, Osmania University, Hyderabad and awarded Centrally Sponsored Doctoral Fellowship (ICSSR, Government of India) during his study. He has been awarded Gold Medal for standing in first place in his Bachelors Degree. Before joining this University, he worked as Junior Project Fellow in the National E-Governance Research Project (Sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India) with post-Ph.D. research and teaching experience of two years, till date he has 10 publications in various journals and books. Dr. Sriram has selected for centrally sponsored ICSSR Post Doctoral Fellowship.  He has participated in various National and International conferences and workshops with publications in academic journals. He was the speaker at UN REDD conference-2014 and ICPA 2012, and ICPA 2014. He is a Life member of Indian Public Administration Association (IIPA) and New Public Administration Society of India (NEPASI).

Dr. Neeta Sinha is a Behavioral Psychologist, Academician and Corporate Trainer.  She completed her Ph.D in the interdisciplinary area of Psychology and Management from DDU Nadiad. She has done Diploma in Mental Retardation from NIMH Delhi and M.A. Psychology from Patna University. She has over 12 years of Industry experience and more than 8 years experience in teaching, training, psychological counseling and personality development

A qualified, experienced and professionally oriented person with an applied approach to analyze and evaluate broader issues of the existing and emerging facades of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development and Psychological concerns, she has exposure in training, teaching and research she is visiting faculty at several academic and research institutions in Ahmedabad.
She has presented papers at various national and International conferences, workshops and seminars and has several publications in National and International journals, besides articles in books and 2 books to her credit. She is guiding several Ph.D students and is reviewer for reputed Research Journals

Dr.Sinha specializes in the area of psychometric assessment, psychological profiling and organizational development. She works as a corporate trainer and has worked with various organizations in the area of training and development.

Her work includes HR Consultancy, business development, key account management; training; assessment consultancy; design and implementation of selection and development processes; recruitment processes; assessment and development centers.
Dr.Sinha has keen interest and inclination in the area of Stress Management, Emotional Intelligence Gender, Organizational Development, Culture and Environmental concerns
